On origins of the principle of historicism in German classical philosophy (I.G. Gerder and his outlooks)

In this paper the philosophy of history of I.G. Gerder has been considered as a starting point of theoretical substantiation of the principle of historicism which has received further development in German classical philosophy. Religious, philosophical, historical and cultural preconditions of formation of I.G. Gerder's outlook connected with his life in Riga have been analyzed. The conclusion has been drawn on concrete identity of logic and historical as content of the principle of historicism.

Antiquity as a beginning of world history in the works of German thinkers of the XVIII – XIX centuries (to the problem of the historical method formation)

The paper contains analysis of attitude to antique civilization as a starting point of historical development which was formed in the German philosophy of history. Philosophical and historical views of German philosophers of the period from the XVIII century to the first half of the XIX century have been considered in terms of explication of the historism concept from nature and the universe to culture and society.
